Since our inception in 1978, B. S. K. College has proudly emerged as a prominent institution known for its sound academic atmosphere and rigorous discipline. Situated in the socially and economically developing damin-e-koh region, we hold the unique distinction of being the premier college between the districts of Sahibganj and Pakur, offering higher education up to the Honours level across 21 subjects in Arts, Science, and Commerce.
Our core mission is rooted in inclusivity and empowerment. We strive to provide the youth of our region—especially those belonging to ST, SC, OBC, and Minority communities—with accessible, high-quality higher education. In alignment with the UGC’s core objectives, we firmly believe in linking education to both "knowledge and bread." While traditional studies build the foundation of our intellect, we understand that today’s global and technical world demands specialized skills. To meet these modern employment demands, we are actively expanding our vocational programs, including BCA, BBA, and B.Lib & Information Science, alongside our upcoming skill-based Diploma courses.
